Job Summary:
The Warehouse Man is responsible for the proper receiving, storage, monitoring, and issuance of parts and materials within the warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, organized stock handling, and timely coordination with internal departments to support efficient dealership operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Receiving and Storage
- Receive, inspectm and verify incoming parts and materials against delivery documents.
- Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and storage of items according to warehouse standards.
- Monitor stock conditions to prevent damage, loss, or discrepancies.
- Stock Monitoring and Issuance
- Accurately release parts and materials based on approved requests and documentation.
- Maintain updated inventory records and report discrepancies immediately.
- Assist in conducting regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and update receiving reports, issuance records, and inventory logs.
- Coordinate with Parts, Service, and Sales departments regarding stock availability.
- Ensure all transactions are properly documented and filed.
- Operational Efficiency and Safety
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse area.
- Work efficiently under pressure to meet operational deadlines.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
- Team Coordination and Support
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory updates.
- Assist in resolving inventory-related issues using analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned.
