Job Summary:
The New Car Release Staff is responsible for the accurate preparation, inspection, documentation, and turnover of brand-new vehicles to customers. This role ensures that all released units meet dealership quality standards, are complete with required accessories and documents, and are properly endorsed to customers in a professional and organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Preparation and Inspection
- Conduct final visual and functional checks on new vehicles before release.
- Verify the completeness of accessories, tools, and required inclusions based on sales documentation.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, properly staged, and ready for customer turnover.
- Documentation and Processing
- Prepare and verify vehicle release documents, checklists, and delivery forms.
- Ensure accurate encoding and recording of vehicle details and release schedules.
- Maintain organized filing of all release-related records.
- Customer Turnover and Support
- Assist in explaining basic vehicle features and functions during release.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Finance teams to ensure smooth and timely vehicle turnover.
- Operational and Logistical Support
- Safely drive vehicles within dealership premises or for authorized transfers as required.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines during vehicle handling.
- Assist in inventory monitoring and other related administrative tasks.
