Job Summary:
The Insurance Claims Processor is responsible for handling and processing insurance-related transactions for customers, ensuring accurate documentation, timely coordination with insurance providers, and smooth facilitation of claims. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple claims efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Processing & Documentation
- Process insurance claims accurately and on time.
- Review and verify the completeness of claim documents, repair estimates, and supporting requirements.
- Prepare and maintain organized records of all insurance transactions and related documents.
- Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with insurance companies, adjusters, service advisors, and customers regarding claim status and requirements.
- Provide clear updates to customers on claim progress and required documentation.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Encode, track, and monitor claims data using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
- Prepare periodic reports on claim status, approvals, and pending transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all insurance-related information.
- Customer Service & Support
- Assist customers throughout the insurance claim process to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when handling concerns or resolving issues.
- Support the service department in facilitating claim-related repairs.
