Job Summary:
The Finance Manager oversees the financial operations of Toyota Valencia, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, financial policies, and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in managing the dealership’s financial health through effective financial analysis, risk management, and reporting. The Finance Manager will lead and mentor the finance team, implement financial strategies, and contribute to decision-making processes to support organizational growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to meet company objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Provide management with accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor and manage internal controls, including audits, to ensure the integrity of financial operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage the preparation and submission of reports through the SAP system.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring the security of company assets.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, fund allocation, and investments to ensure financial stability.
- Oversee debt management and financial obligations to maintain positive financial health.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve department goals and maintain high performance.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and excellence within the team.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support the management team’s decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with operational objectives.
- Support the management team in evaluating new business opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage internal and external audit processes, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Finance, with a Master’s Degree in the same field.
- Preferably with a professional license (CPA or equivalent), though not required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the automotive industry or any manufacturing industry.
- Adept in financial analysis, management reporting, internal audit, taxation, fund, and risk management.
- Knowledgeable in SAP system software.
- Demonstrates proven integrity, maturity, and a strong work ethic.
- A resident of Malaybalay or Valencia City, Bukidnon.
