Job Summary:
The Body Technician is responsible for performing automotive body repairs, restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition, and ensuring all work meets Toyota’s quality and safety standards. This role involves assessing vehicle damage, conducting body repair procedures, and supporting the service team in delivering efficient and high-quality repair services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automotive Body Repair and Restoration
- Perform basic automotive body repairs such as panel alignment, dent removal, and minor structural corrections.
- Assist in restoring vehicles based on approved repair procedures and service standards.
- Support preparation tasks before painting, including sanding, masking, and surface preparation.
- Inspection and Quality Assurance
- Inspect damaged vehicles to identify repair requirements and ensure proper repair execution.
- Ensure completed work meets dealership quality standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all repair tasks.
- Workshop Operations and Safety
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines during repair activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist in maintaining workshop efficiency and productivity.
- Team Coordination and Support
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and other technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Participate in training programs and continuously improve technical skills.
- Support other service department activities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Automotive Course
- With basic Automotive Body repair knowledge/skills
- Male
