Job Summary:
The General Job Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and general repairs on customer vehicles in accordance with dealership standards. This role ensures accurate diagnosis of basic automotive concerns, proper execution of general repair tasks, and timely completion of assigned jobs while maintaining quality workmanship and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Repair and Maintenance
- Perform basic automotive general job repairs such as oil changes, brake servicing, fluid replacement, and minor mechanical adjustments.
- Conduct inspections to identify common vehicle issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist in preventive maintenance services following standard repair procedures.
- Diagnostic and Technical Support
- Use appropriate tools and equipment to perform general automotive repair tasks.
- Follow written repair orders and oral instructions from Service Advisors or supervisors.
- Report additional findings or repair recommendations based on vehicle inspection.
- Quality and Safety Compliance
- Ensure all completed work meets dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas.
- Adhere to safety procedures and workshop policies at all times.
- Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with other technicians and service personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
- Support workshop productivity and meet assigned service timelines.
- Participate in continuous learning and technical skill improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Automotive Course
- With basic automotive General Job repair knowledge/skills
- Male
